Fate

So, this is what happened.

This particular cameo was up for auction last week - I didn't bid for it, because the price went way too high for me, but nevertheless it got passed in.  Then what happens, but it comes up for auction again this week.  Early on in the bidding I made a single bid, which was less than half of the passed in price last week - and blow me down with a feather but I got it.

Isn't it stunning!!  And it was quite clearly fate.
