The sun sinks in slumber

Sky melts to amber,
As the sun sinks in slumber.
Sea like burnished gold.

Back blip:
Had a weekend away in our caravan .... and it didn't rain!
We stayed near Chichester and had a couple of days to explore a bit. This is taken from the quay at Bosham..... how could I resist? The day had been gloriously warm, but as soon as the sun went down it became very cold. So after a swift pint in the village pub we withdrew to our snug little van with wine and food ....

my alternative blip was this, the setting sun turned the walls of this old boathouse from weathered black to pure gold.....
