Walking in Paradise

What did you do at school today?

First the answer to yesterday's puzzle picture. A bilberry picker. The reason it is linked to the Lickey Hills is because they are trying to restore the heathland there which is 90% bilberry and 10% heather. Success could give the site SSSI status. Going north the next heathland like this is in Cumbria.

Back to today, at last some good weather for Forest School. The children I was working with have started a project on food, so we looked at the idea of foraging, what we might be able to use for food on the site and some that would not. Then the best bit cooking bread on the campfire. Great fun!
