Most of the beaches along this part of the coast have a backdrop of grassland, sometimes large areas, sometimes small....and little creeks where the tide ebbs and flows. I was more than a little surprised to see a heron along the bank of this one, Flanagans Creek, and after seemingly stalking his prey, he suddenly flew off. I was lucky to get the shot!
There was also huge activity on the headland from a film crew, apparently shooting a Disney production, set in the 70s for TV.. I will be watching with interest...
