Merewether baths

The day started as it ended - almost cloudless with orange skies. It really was a glorious day too. The seas were pounding and I could hear the waves crashing against the sands when I was walking the dogs. A pod of dolphins came in quite close to the surfers and were performing manoeuvres that would have outdone anything at sea world. Alas the long lens was in the car so I just have the memories of this.

When the seas are high they overflow the end of the baths at the blocks. I only got a little wet for this shot. Last day at work for me tomorrow as Thursday is Anzac Day and I am taking Friday as leave. Hooray for short working weeks.
