Day 78

So this time next week, if all goes to plan, my youngest son, Jonathan will have finished his walk from Land's end to John O'Groats.

A rest day was enjoyed at the weekend and now the Kessock bridge which is located just outside Inverness has been crossed and the "John O' Groats" trail is being embarked upon.

Still on his first pair of Trail running shoes (HOKA Speedgoat 4 for those who are interested) which should have had a shelf life of 500 miles, they have performed above and beyond and will see him out the 1400 miles he will walk.
