Spring Beauty in Oregon

It is always a surprise when we come home after six weeks away and find Spring everywhere! I had so much to do today I didn't have time for my usual long walk, but this field of yellow flowers right by our house caught my eye right away. The lushness of the green with the yellow splashes of color were just the perfect welcome home blip! Today I am thankful we are able to leave the rain for a while and come back to its beautiful rewards!
