Long Way from Home

I met this beautiful kitty on my way to a neighboring village. She has obviously seen better times - beneath her still glossy coat she is incredibly thin and her tail must have been broken twice. As she is also very affectionate I am sure that she isn't a feral cat but must have had a home until not very long ago.
Unfortunately I couldn't take her with me because I was walking and didn't have a carrier or a suitable box with me. Leaving her behind almost broke my heart.
But I will be on the look-out for her (and put a cat harness and some treats in my bag, just in case) - hopefully I will meet her again.
