Late harbinger

Spring is very late this year. The trees still have no leaves and that bloom of purple that comes on birches just before they start to be transformed has not spread across the hillsides along Glendaruel.

But in Edinburgh another sign is the school trips starting to sun themselves on the steps of Dynamic Earth - a harbinger I can see from my office window.

Last year I blipped it on the 21st of March. It is a a month and three days later this year but at last it is back.
