Beautiful Oban bay

and it was looking very good today in the sun. A busy bay today with lots of boats moving around, at the railway pier the MV "Isle of Mull" is just docking to unload the cars having returned from Craignure on Mull.

Top centre right is McCaigs tower, never know as a folly in Oban, we locals hate that name. It was built by a local banker in 1897 to provide work in the town.

I love the busyness of the bay and the yellow whins on the hills behind Oban. This shot was taken from the well know view point at Pulpit hill.
