A Dog's Dinner

The Late Quartet

We're certainly keeping up with our New Years resolution of getting out to the pictures or the theatre. Tonight it was an excellent film- Late Quartet at the Filmhouse

A very moving essay on ageing, change and the timelessness of music ironically held together around the disintegration of a long established string quartet.

Highly recommended- a real grown up film for grown ups.

...and next week it a real treat. On The Waterfront the classic film by Elia Kazan that defined 'method acting'. A new print so something to look forward to.
