Warm

With A and K packing, I took Django out. We headed first for Uttershill Castle, with its fine view to the Pentlands across our end of Penicuik. Back home I had a video-call with a prospective student who is providing a singular (but welcome) challenge due to being an asylum seeker! After that, but there was too much going on to get stuck into coding, so I took some time to relax.

After K returned from successfully cutting Mum's hair (to her great relief!) I took A and K to the airport. They're off to the South of France, but the big gathering (of c.200 from one half of A's family) on Sunday was cancelled yesterday due to two organisers testing positive for Covid. However, a smaller-scale event (probably still at least 50 people) is being organised rapidly for Sunday by A's sister! They are real pros when it comes to such things!
