Sweet!

Here come my perpetual sweet peas! They disappear each winter, then suddenly appear and grow as fast as Jack's beanstalk in summer.

A hot and sunny day again. The garden's looking rather parched but I'm holding off watering all but the  more vulnerable plants, because once you start you have to keep soaking them each day.
