Another Focus Stack

This time I didn’t have it in my ‘useful’ box! I went out to the woods to seek some shade and cool. Stopped to snap this fungus, which I believe is “Artist’s Bracket”. The ‘plates’ are about 20cm across, growing out of a fallen tree trunk. I did this as a ten shot focus stack. I love the orange colour on top of the fungi and all the wonderful textures of the old bark.

I also found a rather nice flower growing in the woods..which looks like a campanula (see extra). I’m not sure if it is normally a ‘wild’ flower. Took a while to get this shot ..it was blowing about a bit, and the trees overhead were causing patches of sunlight to move about…but I wanted to catch it in some sunlight against a dark background!
