‘Threesome!’

Spotted lots of Red Soldier Beetles having fun by the Water of Leith this afternoon - looked like they were all at it!

Not uncommon with this kind of beetle on warm summer days apparently….

According to The Wildlife Trusts website, 
‘The adults spend much of their short, summer lives mating, and can often be seen in pairs’

         …….….though this was the only threesome I spotted!
