Wesak

Wesak is the most important date in the Buddhist calendar, the Buddha Moon or the Taurus Full Moon in May. It celebrates Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death. Buddhists gather to chant and pray or meditate, and it's usually a very colourful and joyous occasion. It's said that the Buddha energy returns each year at this time and blesses all humanity.
