Egg observation

It was so hot I decided to see if an egg would cook on the patio.  It didn't.  It went slightly wrinkly and then I accidently let the dog out and she ate it.  It's her 12th birthday tomorrow so Happy Birthday Jess!

The hot weather has been extraordinary, possibly record breaking, so I spent the afternoon painting in the shade.  I mused that normally I'd pay good money to enjoy this sort of heat in another country and today I was taking shelter inside.
