Friday 15 May 2009: Four strings do not a ukelele make
Been an unusually busy week for my bass. Band practice on Monday, the uke project during the week, and tonight The Candidates are playing at a birthday party.
In addition to our usual set, we're also playing backing for the birthday girl's children to sing this and this. Ah well, always good to try something new ... actually, the little girl and boy are brilliant: they're going to completely steal the show.
Hopefully, afterwards I'll get along to what's left of Dave's fiftieth birthday party. Where, I imagine, I'll be the only sober one.
