Rain Drops

One of the things we can usually rely on with the British Weather is that it can change quickly.  After the incredible temperatures of Monday and Tuesday, today we had persistent drizzle through the morning and much lower temperatures.  In that respect it is beneficial to live in a temperate climates with sea surrounding us.  I feel for those who's climate gets stuck with incessant heat for weeks and months.

In our front garden we have three variegated Berberis plants, I think it is a variety called chameleon.  anyway the fine rain this morning was falling on the leaves and creating these beautiful drops of water.

Another working day, but after this week I am concentrating on my volunteering for the Commonwealth Games.  Only seven days to go until the start though by then I will have done three shifts at the NEC where we will be providing transport services for the athletes while they train in advance of the competition.
