Perseus - Behind!
Today couldn't have been more different from yesterday!!
Same walk around my lake this afternoon - but with the added sunshine effect! It was so much more enjoyable.
I even sat underneath Perseus by the lake to watch the swallows and housemartins swoop over the lake surface. That's where I got my inspiration for this shot.
The sculpture faces away from the lake towards the Italian gardens, and I quite liked this "cheeky" angle!!!!
He is a 19th Century copy of Benvenuto Cellini's original 1550s sculpture, now at the Loggia dei Lonzi, in Florence. He was removed last year for an exhibition in London, but was returned to us last December.
