Visiting The High Street.

It has been several months since I visited the centre of Newport-on-Tay.

The main reason for going today was for Pat to have her eyes examined. While she was gazing into strange lights and patterns, I explored the High Street.

Todays Blipfoto shows the former Free Church of Scotland now converted into several apartments. I do remember being inside this church many years ago. It had a quite remarkable interior, however it has not survived this conversion.

The exterior of the building remains as a significant presence at the West End of the street. It would be interesting to see the interiors.

Afterwards we stopped at the pharmacy to enquire about undelivered prescriptions. Before Pat could even make her enquiry the elderly man ahead of her was subjected to a barrage of verbal abuse from a young man behind the counter.

Pat also had quite a debate about her missing meds. She was able to prove that the orders had been placed by email. However, it soon became apparent that the computer system was not receiving emails. She actually sent emails to the addresses while at the counter. They did not arrive. Oh Dear!

While we were driving up to Stonehaven to pick up Whisky and Treacle Ice Cream, Pat wrote a complaint letter about the abuse of an elderly gentleman by the young man.

He was the Pharmacist!

While the Pharmacist was berating the EG he was actually holding the EG’s order bags in his hands.
