Tin Tin

The North Norfolk Railway hosted a 1960s weekend so B & I visited Weybourne Station to take a look.  As well as some vintage vehicles and a band playing 60s music there was also a display of some caravans.

This particular caravan (along with a Triumph Herald) were featured in Herges book 'Tin Tin and the Black Island' and this couple have lovingly kitted out the caravan in true 1960s style including the hero himself, along with his faithful companion Snowy.  The extra shows the whole caravan and the brightly coloured interior.

The railway were only running diesel trains between their stations today due to the fire risk from stray sparks.  However, they were offering short footplate rides on a steam train along a small, safe section of track.
