Tidcombe Bridge

Over the Grand Weston Canal. Sue dropped by to pick me up and drive over to the Tiverton this morning. We got there just before 10am, just as the Ducks Ditty Cafe on the Canal was opening. It was lovely to sit outside with a cup of coffee before our stroll.

It was already quite busy on the tow path with families enjoying walking or cycling. The barge had left with its passengers. We had a gentle stroll looking for dragons and demoiselles. Some were seen, along with ducks, swans and cygnets.

We then decided to drive down to Tiverton Bridge car park, and wander along the tow path there. We did indulge in a salted caramel icecream before we went for a stroll.

All in all a lovely day. We had to detour on the way home as there had been a nasty accident on or around the A361.So joined a stream of traffic until South Molton, before we took a different route home.
