Pastures Of Plenty

Today I replaced my 1.5 h morning walk with a 2 h morning mushroom picking hike in the forest. The result was perhaps 3 litres of mushrooms, chanterelles with two largish hedgehog mushrooms. After yesterday's rain I was hoping for also some porcini but they did not make an appearance. After the hike I emptied my basket on a newspaper, took this blip, and started to clean and cut the crop in pieces for frying. It took another hour - I did not rush it. This evening we will have chicken fillets in mushroom sauce :.-)
