Classic Lions

The Shaw and Shrewsbury team first played in 1888 and is considered precursor of the British and Irish Lions.   It was primarily English in composition but also contained players from Scotland and Wales.  Later the team used the name British Isles.

I have to admit I know very little about Rugby - the blip shows husband wearing one of his favourite T Shirts on a special day His birthday -                                                       Happy Birthday Terry
