On the Right Track

The waymarkers on the trail that goes past our top gate have been repainted. On my way for our weekly prayer walk into town. Had our coffees and tuna toasties in Reguengos, though, as needed to buy paint there before the shop closed for lunch.

Decided to paint the outside of our house; it keeps getting put off because there's still building to be done, but it's looking such a mess, thought we'd just slap some paint on for now. Ha, it's never as easy as that, is it? It now looks worse than ever, but hopefully...

Gratefuls:
- planting Mexican sunflowers where the sweet peas were, late to be planting, but certainly enough sun, so we'll see!
- Guillaume lending us his pressure washer
- the friendliness of the folk in the café where we had our toasties, will certainly go back
