Ready To Fall

A walk in the woodland for a change revealed this light coloured dead tree that stood out in a dark background. Interestingly one branch is still relatively intact, but the rest looks ready to drop.

I liked the texture on the trunk and the pattern of the grain. I don't know where that affinity comes from, maybe woodwork classes in school?

The greens were just too strong, had to dial those down.
