Dysgu seiclo ~ Learning to cycle

I’ll tell you what I think of bicycling. I think it has done more to emancipate women than any one thing in the world. I rejoice every time I see a woman ride by on a bike. It gives her a feeling of self-reliance and independence the moment she takes her seat; and away she goes, the picture of untrammelled womanhood.”

Gwnaethon ni seiclo i ymweld â Richard a Steph heddiw. Roedd y tywydd yn ddisglair a braf. Pan gyrhaeddon ni roedd Richard yn addysgu Zoe i seiclo.  Mae Zoe wedi mynd ar 'Kick Bike' yn barod, felly mae hi'n gwybod sut i gydbwyso. Dim ond pedalau nawr ac mae hi i ffwrdd.

Cawson i brynhawn gwych gyda'n gilydd ac roeddwn i ddiwedd y dydd mewn bwyty Indiaidd ('Maya' ar Albany Road) am bryd o fwyd ardderchog. Argymhellir yn fawr

Gwnaethon ni seiclo adre. Roedd y tywydd yn oer ac roedd hi'n bwrw glaw - tipyn o newid yn y tywydd. Roedden ni'n hapus i fod adre i fod yn sych ac yn gynnes.

Beth bynnag fo'r tywydd, y beic yn bendant yw ein hoff ddull o deithio - gobeithiwn y bydd yn un Zoe hefyd

We cycled to visit Richard and Steph today. The weather was bright and nice. When we arrived Richard was teaching Zoe to cycle. Zoe has already ridden a 'Kick Bike', so she knows how to balance. Just pedal now and it's off.

We had a great afternoon together and at the end of the day I was in an Indian restaurant ('Maya' on Albany Road) for an excellent meal. Highly recommended

We cycled home. The weather was cold and it was raining - quite a change in the weather. We were happy to be home to be dry and warm.

Whatever the weather, the bike is definitely our favourite mode of transport - we hope it will be Zoe's too
