Today I had a vehicle to drop off in Birtley, Tyne and Wear. I then came home via bus. The frequent, modern and reliable Angel 21 service passes the Angel of the North and then crosses the Tyne Bridge from which I took the second photo of the Swing Bridge and the High Level Bridge which carries the railway on one deck and cars on the other. I then changed on to the Hexham bus in Newcastle bus station.
On the way home Mrs S suggested we have lunch in a Mexican restaurant in Hexham with our daughter and I complete the journey home from there in the car.
