Day 10 Bratislava - Gyor 49 miles

Left busy Bratislava this morning, seems like ages ago. We passed commuters on bikes and E-scooters. Soon though we were on our own and have seen no other cycle tourists today. Passed locals but no one laiden down with panniers. The path was similar to yesterdays - straight. We came  across a small sign and what looked like a discussed border barracks, and suddenly we were in our 4th country - Hungary. We noticed a difference in the quality of the paths - bumpy with tree roots - but they took us through pretty sleepy villages. We stopped for coffee and apricot jam filled pancakes, and then for ice creams, lunch was a picnic, supplies bought in Tesco!
Now in Gyor. A very pretty town, who’s claim to fame is the highest producer of Audi parts/cars. Our hotel is amazing, such an old building, with its own sign for cycle parking . Time for a wander round and a wee drink before dinner.
