Turn of the tide

I went down to the shore this morning just after the tide had turned. hoping for some birds feeding close to the shore. I managed this one shot before they noticed me and flew off, just out of range. It isn't monochrome, just early morning light. The sea pigeons were there again, they just flew round in a circle and came back.
