I woke up with a very dodgy stomach, but I wasn't sick and felt better after about an hour thank goodness, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go to my Ramblers Summer Picnic this afternoon phew!

I put my food contribution together, a potato salad with eggs and chives, with a very tasty mustard and honey mayonnaise, and then it was time to get to Alstonefield in the Derbyshire Dales.

There were three walks, all supposed to be getting back to the village hall by 4pm, but one group was an hour late, meaning that we had to wait to attack the food that everyone had brought. Lovely to see folk but after we'd eaten and the raffle had been drawn I was ready to go home.
