Finally.....

.....we have robins!!!!

After 4 months of feeding only pigeons and the occasional blackbirds we now have a pair of robins visiting the buffet table. I've seen them around the garden for 3 consecutive days so hopefully they'll be regular visitors now.

It's a lovely day so Gav and I have been for a walk at the Middleton Lakes nature reserve......I've blipped lots of birds recently so have chosen this shot of the stream that runs through the woodland.

We're off to watch Rob play in the SF on the cup now....a very tough game and the winners of today's match are almost guaranteed to go on and win the final so fingers crossed for a good performance!!

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes for Lucy in the gala last night, she had 3 events and was placed 1st,2nd and 5th. She was pleased although her lack of training is starting to tell.
