This used to be a sand pit

Today I walked the trail in the Brennan Woods Nature Preserve. I came upon this area of overgrown vegetation. When I was a kid a few years ago, we used to play in this sand pit. We would climb up the sides and they were pure beautiful white sand. Apparently that was a really long time ago!
