Once in a blue moon

For the second time in 10 years James and Ben have been playing football at the same time, in the same place (although as they are different ages, against different football teams of course). Which meant I got to see both of them play today.

They were both playing league games (....which to the uninitiated amongst you means they were more important than usual).

Out of the loads of football pictures I took - I was most pleased to get this action shot.

The life of a sports photographer must be hard, it's all so unpredictable.
