SpeckledCoast

The Artist

I wanted to visit the coast today so took a run down to the Scottish Borders to Cove harbour. Very aptly named as it happened since Cove harbour turned out to be the tiniest of harbours nestled on the east coast.

I shared an empty sandy beach only with this artist and, if you view large, you can see her superb results. Afterwards, I walked over to what turned out to be a real a fisherman's cottage (only one) with lobster pots adorning the edge of the quayside and two fishing boats in the harbour.

I enjoyed the tranquility of this place, very much secured by the fact that it's not possible to drive there; access was only by following a downhill coastal track of approximately half a mile to reach it.
