Don't look now

Apologies to anyone who has a phobia of spiders (mine are snakes and earwigs).

This tiny little spider had built a web overnight between the Autumn cactus on the dining room table and one of the chairs.  The light was really good and I could take pictures from either side, so rather pleased with the result.

Unfortunately I then moved said dining chair (without thinking) and it scurried off for a sulk.

Another scorcher of a day but it's clouded over late afternoon so as yet not as hot as this time yesterday.
