Now, as I see it......

Red Apples

The more observant of you will have noticed that my picture is of red apples, and not red arrows.  That's the RAF Red Arrows Aerobatic Team, of course.  They were due to display at Cromer Carnival at lunchtime so we had planned to go over to see them.  The weather forecast said we would have light drizzle here for a couple of hours, but that Cromer would be dry.  The weather forecast was wrong.

We knew the traffic would be bad so had planned getting the bus over, especially as we can travel free.  However, our 'light drizzle' turned out to be torrential rain; if we had gone for the bus we would have got drenched, so in the end we abandoned the trip.

As it turned out, we didn't miss anything.  The Red Arrows only flew over once and then headed home; clearly they had decided the low cloud conditions were too dangerous to perform their display, but a shame for all the people who had made it to the carnival hoping to see them.
