Burrowing Owl

(2nd day camping at K. Prairie)
-we have heard of these little owls nesting in other parts of the park during other visits, but just happened to come upon the pair of them standing by their burrow at the edge of the main park road. One immediately flew away while this one stayed. we tried to not disturb it too much. we did see them again the next day- very exciting :)
-using a borrowed camera from my daughter, as mine is being repaired- hope it comes back ok!
