Transience

For the briefest time,
A fluttering explosion,
Virginal as snow.

This cherry tree is quite dull for most of the year, but for a brief week or two it is covered in this exuberant display of beautiful white blossom. Really quite stunning. I love standing under it and looking up at blue sky through the branches. Later as the petals fall they look like confetti (and will probably get blipped!). Worth the wait, and possibly worth an L to view large.
