I spotted that the carex 'Bronze' grass which is in a pot on the patio had produced this seed head. That is a first for me. I had no idea they were still viable as seed producing plants. I shall encourage them and maybe I'll store the seed for next year's experimentation. But then again maybe the goldfinches would prefer to eat them.
