Beautiful wind turbines

We were invited for afternoon tea at a local farm and then for a walk to the top of their land on which a wind farm has been built.
They are such items of beauty.... and enormous! When the tip of the blade is vertical, it is 100m off the ground!

The view, oh my. It was clear enough to see Ireland with some colour, just 18miles away, and high enough to also see the other side of the Mull of Galloway where the ferry steams up and down from Ireland to Scotland.
