Rain stopped play

I got to the plot before the mizzle turned to rain, so was able to rip out the gherkin plants, harvest the fruits, & deconstruct my Hazel wigwam. Time to retreat to the shed, coffee poured, I wrote some plant labels for the Dodonaea, wound up the string used on the wigwam, & updated the plot calendar. The rain eased so I fed the toms, courgettes, French beans. & squash with some homemade jollop (comfrey tea). Blimey, does it pong!!!

I love it up on the plot early mornings, just me & nature.

Met some ex work colleagues for lunch in Kingskerswell.
Nipped into Tesco's on the way home.
Dropped off at Mum's with beetroot, windfall Bramleys & Victoria plums.
