The very old track pump with a gauge leaks and the newer one doesn't have a gauge and disagrees with some valves for no discernible reason, so I limped to work on as high a pressure as the better of my two current working hand-pumps could achieve, which turned out to have been around 60psi when I got home with the new track pump I brought at lunchtime. I could have tried to use the wee electric compressor which runs off the cigarette lighter socket in the car, but it strains just getting the car up to 30psi.
