A Broken Bale

I missed out on seeing most of the straw bales (roll shaped and cuboid) as most of the harvesting around here was done while we were away.

Today on my walk I found this broken bale left behind at the side of a field.

I couldn’t resist, so there you have it - an emergency bale blip…..

The view here is looking northwards over Oglethorpe Hall Farm towards Thorp Arch (the white buildings on the horizon to the left of the farm)

I travelled light today - just the 6D and a 50mm lens…. :-)
