Another victim of the drought

Just a record shot today taken with my phone pointing up at this young tree - or so I hoped in the bright sunshine where i couldn't see a thing on the screen. This young silver birch was planted about 10 years ago and i have watched it develop through the seasons. But no more, it appears to have succumbed to the drought along with so many other plants. There is still no rain in the short-term forecast.
