Cambridge Leisure Park

Martin bought us tickets to see the new Top Gun film, Maverick today at the IMAX cinema for the bargain price of £3 each.  It was fun evening starting with a cheeky Nandos and then a huge box of popcorn.  

The film is a high resolution remake of the original, following the same formula - and there's nothing wrong with that.  (Though I expect most of you know that as we are very late to the party in seeing it).  

Reminds me of hanging out in beach bars in Koh Samui, Thailand when I backpacked through SE Asia with Jane and Anna.  They would all show the most popular latest film to entice customers in - and this was the one when we were there (1986).  I believe there are only exclusive posh hotels on that coast now.
