Comfort Food
After a stressful couple of days sorting entries for the forthcoming photographic exhibition I requested some Lobscouse for our evening meal - it's a favourite dish of mine.
It's an old fashioned one-pot dish with slow cooked cubes of beef and traditional vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, onions and leeks. A nostalgic dish.
Mrs MD got out her Birthday Knifes and did the necessary.
The aroma was delightful (whilst I enjoyed a large wee dram) and it did not disappoint.
