Is this a lime tree

As usual, I am struggling to correctly identify this fairly tall bushy tree which resides on the golf course. So are these berries proto-limes or something else? It would help greatly if there was a scheme to ensure that all trees carried labels with their common names. If you know the answer, please tell me now.
