Patiently Watching.....

Bit of a frustrating day.

Had a phone call at 10.00 am from one of my husband's sisters.

Could they pop in and see us on their way home to Toowoomba.  (They'd been staying for a week, with another sister.  Who knew!)

Of course, I said yes.

They rang about 11, that they were on their way.  But they had to stop and see a niece who had some plants for them.

They'd be with us in an hour.

They arrived just before 2pm.

20 minutes later I had to leave to pick up the girls.

By the time I got home, they'd gone.

I'm glad I didn't prepare a special lunch.

On the way to bed I read that The Royal Family are gathering at Balmoral.  Something tells me that's not good.
